A respectful approach to the renovation of this seventeenth century listed building was mandatory as we didn't want to cause any permanent harm to this otherwise magnificent building. Our project provides the minimum changes necessary in order to fit in the new uses while taking the most out of the old structure.

The existing expressive stone walls are left seen in most cases. New items are placed so that barely touch them, thus generating new spaces that establish an intense dialogue between the new uses of the building and its history.

The spa enjoys a pleasant atmosphere, of shaded spaces with filtered natural lighting. Even though the spa is on the ground floor -a sensible decision due to the weight of the pools- we managed to maintain a high degree of privacy.

All rooms are open to the square or the street, while circulations are arranged around the courtyard. The hotel has 32 double rooms, 2 junior "suites and 4 suites. The suites have 2 bedrooms independent, each with private bathroom, dining room and living room with fireplace.
