The building has been organised longitudinally in relation to the site. At the entrance the pavement grows to become a small square used as a transition between the street and the building. The different volumes of the building emphasize certain elements that singularize the project and its interior spaces. On the ground floor the entrance also functions as a foyer for the theatre-conference hall. It consists of two zones; one storey and two storey high respectively illuminated zenithally. The theatre is partly sloping with the flat part closer to the stage. In this zone the chairs can be removed to hold different activities such as concerts, parties, dancing... Both loading bay and storage room are at street level and have direct access to stage, exhibition rooms and bar.

The bar is orientated towards the South and open to the outside space. It can work independently by closing two sliding doors. Through the ramp -partially open to the bar- we can access the exhibition rooms, library and the offices. On the second floor, the library consists of a reading zone with magazines, open to the two storey part of the hall. The rest of the library is separated by glass partitions providing acoustic insulation. The inside lecture room is provided with north-east openings onto the street to avoid dazzling. Exhibition rooms are illuminated through a big stripe of north oriented windows. They can work either individually or all together. Each storey has a more private area in which offices and services are set.

The structural scheme is solved by three support lines that become more transparent as they move away from the street and approach the outside space. They start being walls with punctual openings and become pillars separated 5 meters one from the other. The spans will be covered with pre-built systems. They are 10 and 6 meters wide to fit the program they hold. The elements of vertical communication -stairs and ramp- are set inbeteween these two spans. The building has been designed in brick-red and white stucco as these were the materials used in the area.
